About the Evening
Clear answers from someone who has heard it all before.
Perimenopause and menopause raise a lot of questions, and the honest answers are often hard to find. This evening brings Dr Samantha English, GP and Women’s Health Specialist, to Hexham to talk through what is really happening, what your options are, and what the evidence says.
The format is simple. A talk from Dr English, a live Q&A where you can ask anything, and time over refreshments to chat with the Menopause Medical team. You can also submit a question anonymously when you book, and Dr English will cover the most common ones on the night.
Whether you are just starting to notice changes, already on treatment, or supporting someone who is, you will leave with a clearer picture and the confidence to take the next step.
What We’ll Cover
- What perimenopause and menopause actually are, and how to recognise the signs
- The symptoms nobody warns you about
- HRT explained: the benefits, the risks, and the myths
- Non-hormonal options, lifestyle, and nutrition
- When to seek help, and what a consultation involves
- Your questions, answered live
Please note: This is a general information evening. Dr English will cover the questions women ask most often, but she cannot give advice on your own symptoms or treatment on the night. For personal advice, book a consultation with Menopause Medical.
